A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XVI style Bergere carved and turned walnut armchair, the backrest and seat decorated with hand carved continuous-ribbon mouldings, the armrest with acanthus leaves, standing on finely turned and fluted legs. Please note the excellent width of this comfortable armchair. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
