A French Regence Armchair

 A large 19th century French Regence style carved walnut armchair decorated with the typical broad back rest and sweeping arms, standing on carved "Os de MoutonĀ legs" joined by a shaped stretcher base. Retaining a wonderfully burnished and luminous walnut patination. Please note: the armchair's seat is tall enough for a person to sit at a desk or table. Area of Paris, circa 1880.

Condition report: In excellent, as found condition, needing small touch-ups to the finish. The upholstery fabric and the loose cover both in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Width 78 cm, height of back rest 95 cm.
