An 18th century Italian roof finial in the shape of a Pompeii faun, the terracotta head framed by architectural volutes and retaining remnants of the original painted finish. Area of Rome, circa 1780.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing wear suitable weathering for its age, including signs of having been cemented to the eaves of a roof.
Dimensions: Width 25 cm, overall height 31 cm, overall depth 32 cm.
