A 19th century French Art Nouveau period 'Sellette' pedestal stand, the solid carved walnut shaped uprights supporting two shelves and a top, each support shaped, moulded and fitted with book-matched walnut patterns. Please note the elegance of this piece, designed to display vases, statuettes and busts on the top shelf. Area of Paris, circa 1890.
