An oil-on-canvas portrait of a race horse in the manner of George Stubbs, depicting a race saddled horse in a landscape, next to its resting rider. Fitted into a later, gilt frame. England, circa 1780.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. A repairable, small hole in the canvas, just under the horse's tail.
Dimensions: Frame 84 x 69 cm.
