A “Luneville” French Dinner Service

A French blue on white faience 58 piece dinner set, consisting of 10 soup bowls, 18 dinner plates, 6 side plates, 2 salad bowls, a sauce boat, a soup turren with lid, 6 serving platters, 3 coffe cups with saucers, coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk jug. The plates and bowls have delicately scalloped edges and are decorated with English style "Cottage" motifs and with flower borders. The undersides stamped with the Luneville's "Cottage", and Luneville's "Grand feu" stamps. Area of Luneville, North East France, circa 1930. Price is for the entire set.
