A tall Absinthe Glass
A tall, 19th century French absinthe glass of good height, standing on stem plinth with elegant tapering bowl. Note the early, blown glass character of this glass, and the fact that under the plinth there is a water-wheel cut to hide the maker's pincer mark. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1850.
