A set of 12 French Wine Glasses
A set of twelve early 19th century French Provincial wine glasses, the generous-sized blown glass bowls standing on simple stems with applied plinths. The underside of the plinths show the pincer marks of the glassblower. These wine glasses show their wonderfully rustic, hand-made character, with their slightly uneven shapes and heights, and with trapped air bubbles in the clear glass. The underside of the plinths show the pincer marks of the glassblower. Area of Normandy, circa 1830.
Price is for the set of twelve.
