A Set of 8 French Wine Glasses
A set of eight, early 19th century French blown glass wine glasses from the Normandy region of Pays de Caux, the bowls on simple baluster pedestals. Typically, the glass has the trapped bubbles and ‘wobbles’ of its handmade technique. Note the extra-wide plinths of these glasses. Please note: there are some slight variations in heights and shapes, as expected in hand-made artisanship. The underside of the plinths show the pincer marks of the glassblower. Area of Normandy, circa 1840.
Price is for the set of eight.
