A set of twelve 18th century French Wine Glasses
A rare and large set of twelve, 18th century French blown glass wine glasses, the generous-sized tulip-shaped bowls standing on baluster stems with wide plinths. These wine glasses show their wonderfully rustic, hand-made character, with their slightly uneven shapes and heights, and with trapped air bubbles in the clear glass. Please note: there are some slight variations in heights and shapes, as expected in hand-made artisanship. The underside of the plinths show the pincer marks of the glassblower. Area of Pays de Caux, Normandy, circa 1780.
Price is for the set of twelve.
