A Parisian Gasolier Chandelier

A 19th century French Napoleon III period gilt brass Salon Gasolier Chandelier decorated with three elegantly scrolled arms placed around a central quiver and arrows (an allegory for passion). Of wonderful proportions and with finely gilt and chased foliate decorative elements. Retaining its original, frosted glass 'tulip' shades. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
