A Long French Hall Table
A 19th century French Provincial long and narrow, solid oak hall/serving table of simple design. The front rail fitted with two shallow drawers each with a shell-shaped metal handle, and standing on square-section legs joined by an 'H' stretcher. The top is very nicely-worn and is marked with some light kitchen-work stains and knife cuts. Note the exceptional thickness of the top. Area of Normandy, circa 1860.
