A large Louis XVI Dining Table
A large and wide French Louis XVI style, cherrywood and beechwood round-end dining table, standing on finely tapering legs. The table has an extension mechanism allowing for three extension leaves to be fitted. An extra pair of drop-down legs support the centre of the table, when it’s fully-extended. These legs are placed in the middle of the top, and do not interfere with people’s knees. Ample leg-room under the shallow rails.
Area of Paris, circa 1930.
