An 18th Century 10 seater Farmhouse Table
A large and elegant late 18th century French provincial solid cherrywood 10-seater farmhouse table of simple proportions, standing on graceful, square-section tapering legs. A shallow drawer is fitted into one of the long rails, allowing for good leg-room. Note the underside, with its early construction technique. Area of the Loire Valley, circa 1780.
Condition report: In good and unrestored condition. The top is well-worn and has been left as-found, with its very dry patina. With restorations, the colour will deepen to a beautiful, pale, warm brown.
Dimensions: 234 x 84 cm, height 73.5 cm.
