A French Pier Glass Mirror
A mid 19th century French, Napoleon III period, 'Entre-Fenêtres' pier-glass mirror of typically tall and narrow proportions. Of simple Classic design, the frame decorated with etched foliate motifs and surmounted by a 'cartouche' pediment. Retaining the original mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1860.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. The base of the mirror has been fitted with a (later) plinth board), which is easily removable. in our workshop
