A French Louis XVI Library Table
A mid 20th century French Louis XV style mahogany circular table, the top fitted with the original gilt-edged leather. Standing on four, finely turned and fluted legs, each leg with its original brass caster wheel. This table is extendable, and when extended, there are two additional drop-down legs to support the length of the table. Typical of the high quality cabinet making of the Faubourg Saint Antoine. Area of Paris, circa 1950.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. Our workshop is able to construct more extension leaves and fit them with leather, to create a large conference/ boardroom type of table.
