A fine Parisian Standard Light
An elegant 19th century French wrought iron standard light of classic design standing on a well-wrought tripod base. The stem is decorated with out-sized tole-work acanthus leaves and gargoyles. Fitted with an old parchment shade, requiring minor repairs. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
Condition report: In good and unrestored condition, rewired to Australian safety standards, with black silk electrical cord and a foot-switch.
Dimensions: Adjustable in height.
