An extending French Farmhouse Table
Reference No: LF
An 18th century French solid cherrywood eight to twelve seater extending farmhouse table, the rectangular top with all-round 'bread-ends' fitted with two slide-out extensions that make for an exceptionally long tabletop. The timbers are presently dry, and nicely burnished by time and use. Area of the Loire Valley, circa 1780.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. The top has a good wear and tear, and shows a myriad of old knife marks.
Dimensions: Width 78 cm, length 178 cm extending to 322 cm, height 75 cm.
