An extending French Farmhouse Table

A mid 19th century French Napoleon III period solid cherrywood and chestnut, eight to twelve-seater extending farmhouse table standing on baluster-turned legs, the rectangular top fitted with two slide-out extensions that make for an exceptionally long tabletop. The timbers are presently dry and nicely burnished by time and use. A shallow drawer opens at one of the ends. Plenty of leg-room under the rails. Area of the Loire Valley, circa 1870.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
Dimensions: Width 88 cm, length 160 cm extending to 230 (with one leaf out), and to 300 cm (with both leaves out).. Height 76 cm.
