An extending French Dining Table
An early 20th century French Louis XV style carved solid oak and oak parquetry extending dining table, the serpentine top above Cabriole legs and shaped rails. Each of the shaped rails is decorated with haut-relief mouldings. This table will comfortably seat six people when closed, and on opening both extensions will comfortably seat ten. The table has plenty of leg-room. The extension leaves are stored under the tabletop, when not in use. Area of Paris, circa 1930.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
