An Empire Console Table

An early 19th century French 1st Empire period, flame mahogany and gilt-bronze mounted console table of good, shallow proportions and with a restrained and masculine character. A shallow drawer opens across the front. Retaining its original Carrara marble top. Area of Paris, circa 1810.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition, requiring some repairs to missing veneer pieces and re-polishing.
