A Chinese Cloisonneé Vase
A mid 20th century Chinese 'Cloisonneé' vase of exquisite workmanship, the turned brass baluster-shape body decorated with patterns of finely braised, raised brass cells. Each of the cells is filled with polished, coloured enamels to create the lustrous depictions seen here. Area of Beijing, (Peking), circa 1950.
Condition report: In good and original condition. A small damage to the enamel (see photo).
