A Chef’s Duck Press

A 19th century French cast iron, fretted steel and enamelled cast iron chef's duck press, the heavy flywheel above it is turned to apply pressure to the inside of the 'barrel', to squeeze juices from the cooked duck's bones. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: Complete in all its parts. In good and original condition.
