An 18th century “Capaselle” Preserving Jar
An 18th century glazed Italian majolica “Capaselle” vase, originally made to store food preserved in oil and vinegar in, with the typically small ‘ear’ shaped handles on a simple baluster vase. Area of Taranto, Puglia (Southern Italy) circa 1780.
Condition report: In good and un-restored condition.
