A large French Vigneron Table
A large, early 19th century French provincial solid oak and poplar Vigneron tilt-top table (of good size and comfortable height), the round top retaining the original and well-burnished faded finish. Note the elegant ‘V’-shaped swivel mechanism under the table, which allows the top to remain flat and sturdy. Ample leg-room under the tabletop. Area of Normandy, circa 1840.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition.
