A large French Farmhouse Table
A 19th century French provincial farmhouse table, the solid oak top made from thick and well-burnished planks retaining a dry patination, above chamfered square-section legs joined by an ‘H’ stretcher. Area of Normandy, circa 1880.
Please note: the redness in some of the photos is caused by our warehouse lights. The table has a good, dry oak colouration.
Condition report: In excellent, unrestored condition. The finish requiring superficial cleaning and a good wax and buff. Depending on the chairs to be used to sit at it, this table may require to be (sympathetically) raised by about 2 cm.
Dimensions: 300 x 76 cm, height 73 cm.
