A Classic Parisian Chandelier

A fine and elegant 19th century French Napoleon III period, brass and cut crystal ‘cage’ chandelier of eight lights of a suitable size for a drawing room. This chandelier is decorated with large crystal drops and with a central ‘fountain’ motif, above an out-sized crystal ball with waterwheel-cut decorations. Please note that this chandelier is also fitted with interspersed wine-coloured crystals. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
Condition report: Complete and in good and original condition, requiring to be rewired to Australian safety standards using silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 52 cm, height 80 cm plus any required length of hanging-chain.
