An 18th Century Buffet d’Enfilade
A rare, long and shallow 18th century French solid cherrywood Buffet d’Enfilade sideboard fitted with two central drawers flanked by a pair of panelled doors and a shaped apron. Retaining the original brass handles and escutcheons. Note the delicate and whimsical haut-relief carved trellis of flower motifs on the facade. Area of Vignacourt, Picardie, Northern France, circa 1780.
Condition report: In excellent and original condition, the fruitwood colour with a wonderfully soft and faded patination. The photos taken with the flash show a yellower colour than the real one.
