An 18th Century French Farmhouse Table

An elegant, late 18th century French provincial solid cherrywood 8-seater farmhouse table of simple proportions, standing on graceful, square-section, tapering legs. A shallow drawer is fitted into one of the long rails, allowing for good leg-room. A well-worn pullout bread-cutting board is fitted into one of the end rails, the top at the opposite end is marked by embroidery frames having been attached to the edge. Area of the Loire Valley, circa 1790.
Condition report: In excellent and original condition, the cherrywood timbers nicely burnished and with a soft patination.
