A set of eight German white porcelain oyster-serving plates, each designed to hold six scallops or oysters, plus a slice of lemon in the centre. Typical work of the Waldsassen Bareuther Bavaria pottery, with the "Waldsassen Bareuther" pottery hallmarks on the undersides. Please note: this set of eight comes with a ninth, spare plate. Area of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1950.

Condition report: In good and original condition showing suitable age. No chips or cracks.
