A mid 19th century French Napoleon III period Old Paris white porcelain comport Classical vase, the bowl and rim decorated with finely-fretted (reticulated) patterns. Please note, this is a potter's virtuoso work, where any fault in the artisan's work would end up breaking up in the heat of the kiln. Area of Paris, circa 1850.

Condition report: In good and un-restored condition. A hairline crack on the top rim (see photo).
