A large Vallauris Majolica Fish Dinner Set

A large, vintage French glazed majolica fish serving dinner decorated with the typical colourful glazing work of the 'Vallauris' pottery, each plate, platter and bowl in the shape of a fish. The set comprises 12 plat plates, 12 bowls, a large platter, 2 serving plates and a sauce boat. The undersides are stamped by the hallmark of the Vallauris pottery.
