A French ‘Biot’ Flower Vase

A vintage 1960s French flower vase typical of the fine and distinctive work of the “Verrerie de Biot”, made from heavy blown glass and decorated with a myriad of trapped air bubbles inside the translucent glass. Area of Biot, South of France, circa 1960.

Condition report: In good and original condition showing suitable age. No chips or cracks. The slight discolouration of the glass left by calcium-rich water can be removed.

Dimensions: Height 34 cm, diameter 23 cm.
