A Luminous Parisian 12 Light Chandelier

A large and luminous French Louis XVI style, gilt brass 'Salon' chandelier, decorated with a central crystal baluster surrounded by flowing crystal-bead chains, and with shaped crystals drops. Each of the 12 lights fitted with a faux-candle, standing on a finely shaped and cut crystal drip-tray. Please note the jewellery-like detail in the cast, gilt and chased work of the arms and crown. Retaining its original, large crystal plinth ball. Area of Paris, circa 1900.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent, fully restored condition. Freshly rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 68 cm, height 95 cm plus chain and ceiling cup. Current drop 140 cm. Please enquire if you need a specific drop for this ceiling chandelier.
