A large French Louis XIV style gilt brass and curved glass hallway lantern of four lights, with an outsized and stepped C-scroll pediment, decorated with finely etched 'rope' patterns and fitted with acorn shaped feet. Retaining the original ceiling cup. Please note the fine quality of the casting and the luminosity of the gilt brass. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition, freshly rewired to Australian safety standards using gold silk electrical cords.
Dimensions: Diameter 35 cm, height 73 cm, overall drop 108 cm. Please let us know if you require a specific drop from your ceiling and we can supply a length of suitable chain.
