A lot of 19th century French bell-shaped, blown-glass 'cloche' a "miniature glass-house" which was traditionally used in agriculture to protect delicate plants (such as lettuces and strawberries) from frost. Our workshop makes lanterns from these 19th century French glass bells, electrified to Australian safety standards using black, bronze, silver or pale gold-coloured silk electrical cords. The lantern is fitted with a brass chain and ceiling cup to the required length. The brass can be rendered black, bronze, or silver if required.
Currently, there are five blown glass bells available.
