A fine, 19th century French 'Guéridon' walnut wine table of wonderfully simple and harmonious design, the circular top with a raised edge standing on a turned and carved pilaster and tripod base. The timbers retaining an excellent and original, well-burnished patina. Area of Normandy, circa 1880.
