A fine 19th century Louis XVI style gilt mantle mirror of Parisian elegance, the frame with stepped corners and decorated with a laurel leaf and string-of-pearl mouldings, and with a wonderful pediment in the shape of a laurel wreath around a central 'Cartouche' crest. Fitted with its original mirror plate. Area of Paris, circa 1870.
