An early 18th century French Regence period poplarwood table, the thick top made from wide planks, standing on four pilaster-turned legs joined by rails. Please note the very nicely burnished top with its original patina and the wear on the rails, from generations of feet resting on them. Area of Isle de France, Greater Paris, circa 1710.
