An elegant pair of French Louis XV style silver plated asparagus serving tongs decorated with finely etched and fretted foliate and seashell motifs, fitted with its original Louis XV style handle. Each piece with a stamped '15'. Area of Paris, circa 1950. 

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing only slight wear in keeping with its age and use.
