A French Art Deco period wrought iron Standard light of Classic design, decorated with typically French hand wrought 'S' and 'C' wrought iron scroll-work and gilt 'tole' foliate motifs, retaining its original painted and gilt finishes. Please note the wonderful design and the blacksmith's excellent craftsmanship. Fitted with a period parchment shade. Area of Paris, circa 1930.

Condition report: Complete and in excellent condition. Fully rewired to Australian safety standards using black silk electrical cords with a cord-switch.
