A French Louis XV style carved walnut tabouret stool of good proportions, the upholstered seat flanked by carved and shaped, raised sides. Decorated with haut-relief carved stylised foliate motifs, standing on cabriole legs. This type of stool was typically used in a bathroom setting. Area of Paris, circa 1900.
