An elegant set of late 19th century French glazed Barbotine Majolica asparagus plates, comprising 8 plates and one serving platter, wonderfully decorated with haut-relief and glazed asparagus stalks on woven wicker patterns. Area of Strasbourg, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age.
Dimensions: Diameter of plates 24 cm, platter 42 x 25 cm.
