A French Buffet Deux-Corps

An elegant, late 18th century French Regence style solid oak Buffet Deux-Corps of excellent, smaller proportions, fitted with an outsized pediment decorated with carved haut-relief trellises of vines and bunches of grapes. Retaining the original, nicely-faded and luminous patination. The four doors open up completely, including the central door-transoms, making this piece ideally suited as a TV/ stereo cabinet. Fitted with shelves and two internal drawers. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1730.
