A fine mid 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style gilt pastille work mantle mirror of good size and proportions. Decorated with flowing foliate motifs framing a fretted Rocaille motif crest. Note the elegance of the asymmetrical crest and of the chamfered corners of the pediment. Retaining its original, shaped and bevelled mirror. Area of Paris, circa 1870.

Condition report: Complete and in good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age.
