SOLD TO R.M.
A (hard-to-find) identical pair of mid 20th century French gilt and painted wrought iron and tole-work five light Maison Charles design 'wheat' chandeliers, decorated (in an allegory of 'Prosperity') as bouquets of wheat stalks and foliage. Please note that in France these lights are referred to as "Coco Chanel" lights, deriving from the original "wheat" coffee table designed by Salvador Dali for Chanel. Area of Paris, circa 1960.
Price is for the pair.
It would be a shame to separate a hard-to-find pair.
