A 19th century French Napoleon III period, Transitional style solid oak commode chest of three drawers of good Classical proportions, standing on simple Cabriole legs. Fitted with the original moulded oak top and original turned brass handles. The drawers are decorated by fine bead mouldings. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1870.
