A mid 19th century French Napoleon III period, Louis XV style carved solid mahogany "fauteuil en gondole" desk armchair, the back-rest decorated with 'S' scroll uprights, standing on elegant Cabriole legs. Area of Isle de France (Greater Paris), circa 1860.

Condition report: In good and original, unrestored condition, showing slight wear in keeping with its age. The mahogany very nicely faded over time.
Dimensions: Width 61 cm, depth 54 cm, height of back 82 cm.
