A 19th century French Louis XVI mahogany, gilt brass and 'Gris Saint Anne' marble commode of three drawers, of simple, Neoclassical elegance. Of excellent proportions, and retaining its original, shaped and moulded Gris St. Anne" marble top and a nicely-faded warm-brown mahogany patination beautifully offset by the gilt brass mouldings, handles and laurel wreath escutcheons.
