An elegant 19th century French glazed Barbotine Majolica asparagus drainer and separate platter, wonderfully decorated with haut-relief and painted asparagus on a background of stylised foliate motifs. Area of Luneville, Sarreguemines, Eastern France, circa 1880.

Condition report: In good and original condition, showing very slight wear in keeping with its age.
